As you can see even multi-day tickets saw a dramatic increase from last year going up anywhere between $50 and $60.  The question of the matter is Disney outpricing themselves with these price increases?

Original Story:

It happens every February so this shouldn't come as a shock but ticket prices will be increasing starting tomorrow February 12 at Walt Disney World. Last year, Walt Disney World introduced tiered ticket pricing for single day tickets and those tiers will see an increase.

Lower-tier tickets will see an increase of $2 to $99 up from $97. Mid-tier tickets will see an increase of $5 to $107 up from $102. Finally, peak-season tickets will also see an increase of $5 to $119 up from $114. These prices are for Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom.

At Magic Kingdom, prices will increase during value and regular season, but the peak price for tickets at the park will remain unchanged at $124. Mid-tier tickets will see an increase of $5 from $110 to $115. These ticket prices for adults do not include tax. Tickets for children ages 3-9 will also see an increase.

Annual ticket prices will also see an increase beginning tomorrow. Florida Resident Gold passes with blockout dates during Christmas and spring break will see an increase of $10 going up from $549 to $559. Platinum passes with no blockout dates will increase $30 going from $649 to $679.

Guests purchasing multi-day tickets online or through their phones will receive a $20 discount on Magic Your Way bundles for 3-10 day tickets. All tickets will now have expiration dates starting tomorrow, and the dates of expiration will vary.

Preferred parking will also see an increase to $40. We will also see an elimination of the "water park fun and more" standalone option, which had combined admission to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach with a golf outing or a visit to the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. Guests will still be able to purchase this option with a Park Hopper ticket.

A full breakdown of the new ticket pricing should be released so stay tuned.
