First Look at New Floats for Pixar Play Parade to Debut April 13:

Starting yesterday the Disney Parks Blog began their 12 Days of Disney Parks Christmas in which over the next 12 days they will reveal some new and exciting things coming to Disney Parks in 2018. The first day yesterday revealed the three new floats that will debut as part of the Pixar Play Parade which will return to Disneyland on April 13 as part of Pixar Fest.

The parade will begin as all Pixar films have, with an appearance by the iconic and adorable Pixar Lamp. Rolling ahead of the famous lamp will be the familiar yellow Pixar Ball, making a cameo in Pixar Play Parade, as it has in many Pixar films.

Next up to be joining the parade are characters from the beloved film, “Up.” Wilderness Explorer Russell will appear astride the colorful flightless bird, Kevin, with Carl Fredricksen and Dug following behind amid green foliage and snipe chicks, with Carl’s tethered house floating above.

Finally, one more Pixar story coming to Pixar Play Parade is “Inside Out.” Perched atop colorful memory orbs, Joy and Sadness take flight aboard Bing Bong’s rocket wagon, with Bing Bong himself cheering them on! This will be the first time that guests will see Bing Bong in the parks.

Disney on Broadway Concert Lineup Announced for Festival of the Arts:

Believe it or not the Epcot International Festival of the Arts is just over a month away and now we have just who will be performing for the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. Over the six weeks of the festival guests can enjoy musical pairings of Broadway talent singing Disney on Broadway tunes at the American Gardens Theatre. Here is the lineup:

January 12-15, 19-22: Kara Lindsay and Kevin Massay – Tarzan, Aladdin, Newsies, Frozen

January 26-29, February 2-5: Kissy Simmons and Alton Fitzgerald White – Tarzan, The Lion King, Aida, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid

February 9-12, 16-19: Ashley Brown and Josh Strickland – Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, Mary Poppins, Newsies, Frozen

The 2nd Annual Epcot International Festival of the Arts runs January 12 through February 19, 2018.

Paradise Pier to Become Pixar Pier & More Changes Coming to Disneyland & Disney California Adventure

While not as big as the news coming out of Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will be seeing changes to its parks. First up, was the big news that Paradise Pier will become Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure in 2018.

Pixar Pier will feature a brand-new look for the area now known as Paradise Pier, as some of your favorite characters come to life on this seaside waterfront. You will discover whimsical neighborhoods filled with your friends from “The Incredibles,” “Inside Out” and even more of your pals from “Toy Story.”

This will be a permanent addition at Disney California Adventure replacing Paradise Pier. It will open during a brand new limited-time event taking place at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in 2018 called, "Pixar Fest." 

At Disneyland park, this incredible celebration will feature a brand-new fireworks spectacular as well as the return of the guest favorite, Pixar Play Parade. Over at Disney California Adventure guests will see the return of Paint the Night with a brand new float added. More details on Pixar Pier and Pixar Fest will be coming out in the coming months.

That's not all as this Halloween over in Cars Land, guests will be able to experience the holiday as our favorite characters in the land will be celebrating Halloween. 

Bob Chapek save the biggest news for last at Disney California Adventure where a new Marvel-themed land will be built at the park. 

Guardians of the Galaxy have already invaded the park with Mission: BREAKOUT! but soon they will be joined by more of our favorite superheroes. Spider-man and the Avengers will join them in a completely new immersive superhero themed land. 

No other details were announced just to stay tuned in the future on more updates about our favorite Marvel Superheroes coming to Disney California Adventure.

Disney on Ice Presents Follow Your Heart Featuring Finding Dory, Inside Out, and So Much More

The new Disney on Ice show will be called "Follow Your Heart" will begin its production with shows this Fall beginning in Orlando. This year it will feature Pixar's record breaking animated film, "Finding Dory." It will also feature "Inside Out," Disney's "Frozen," and many other of our beloved Disney and Pixar stories.

The New Hollywood Studios At Least for Now

Yesterday, was a sad but monumental day for Disney's Hollywood Studios. We saw the closure of many attractions including Streets of America, Lights, Motors, Action! Stunt Show, Studio Catering Company, Mike and Sulley Meet & Greet, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids! Play Set Adventure, and the Earffel Tower. With these closures we will see the beginning of construction for the future of the park for Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land.

With the closures as well that meant the walls officially went up over night. Essentially a 1/3 of the park is now closed off. The area where Muppet Vision 3D and what soon will be a re-themed restaurant that was Pizza Planet is now called Muppets Courtyard. This was discovered last week before the changes came to the new map for the park.

Now the construction walls that now inhabit the park for the foreseeable future that went up overnight.

Now on the walls near Toy Story Midway Mania you can see concept art for Toy Story Land. The one photo you can speculate where Star Wars Land will meet with Toy Story Land inside the park. Check it out:

Other Disney World Notes:

Today, also Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away stage show began a day early at the Studios. The Inside Out Meet & Greet with Joy and Sadness began at Epcot. Also in Epcot, The Circle of Life did not reopen as its refurbishment was supposed to end today. 

That's all for today, its certainly the beginning of great future for Hollywood Studios. Its certainly needed it. 

Disney Dining Plan Sees 3% Increase, Are Resort Fees Coming to Disney World?, and Much More

Disney Dining Plan Sees 3% Increase Effective Today:

Today, the Disney Dining Plan rates at Disney World saw a 3% increase across the boards for all dining plans. The rate increases are effective immediately. Here is the run down:

The Quick Service Dining plan which includes 2 quick service meals, 1 snack, and 1 refillable mug will now cost $44.13 for adults up from $42.84 and $19.04 for children up from $17.47.

The Basic Dining plan which includes 1 table service, 1 quick service, 1 snack, and 1 refillable mug will now cost $63.70 for adults up from $61.84 and $22.85 for children up from $20.96.

The Deluxe Dining plan includes 3 table (or quick) service meals, 2 snacks, and 1 refillable mug will now cost $115.08 for adults up from $111.73 and $35.49 for children up from $32.56.

Are Resort Fees Coming to Disney World?

The question that is going around Disney Social Media today is: Are resort fees coming to Disney World? Disney has recently sent out a survey asking guests how they would feel about paying a nightly resort fee when staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. Scott Gustin on Twitter took a snapshot of the survey and posted it on the social media website.

As you can see they are asking guests how they would feel about paying a $15/night resort fee to cover the following: Disney's Magical Express, MagicBands, Priority FastPass+ (with planning up to 60 days before arrival), Resort entertainment and children activities, Wi-Fi, Extra Magic Hours, and parking at the resort and theme parks. This is a very common thing at hotels that cover things like Wi-Fi and things such as maybe the gym or parking.

It is also known that both the Swan and Dolphin hotels that are on Disney property but not owned by Disney have resort fees of $25/night. That covers Wi-Fi, domestic phone calls, the health club, and 2 bottles of water. At this point though it is just a survey question and nothing is definite. The question remains though how would you feel about paying a nightly resort fee while staying at a Walt Disney World resort?

Joy and Sadness Are Coming to Epcot Character Spot Next Month:

Jump for joy as Joy and Sadness from "Inside Out" will be coming to Epcot's Character Spot next month. The long awaited rumor was confirmed by the Disney Parks Blog today. 

The two will join Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy who are in their cartoon clubhouse of the future and just across the way is Baymax and Hiro from "Big Hero 6" who just recently were added to the character spot a few months ago. On the way to "Headquarters" you will travel along Riley's long-term memory where you will catch a glimpse of her Islands of Personality before you are greeted by Joy and Sadness. 

Are you filled with emotion to finally be meeting with Joy and Sadness? I know I am. 

"Captain America: Civil War" Releases Two Teasers Ahead of Tomorrow's Trailer Release:

Today, just days after releasing posters for both Team Cap and Team Iron Man, we received two teasers ahead of what should be the final trailer for "Captain America:Civil War." We received one from Team Captain America and one from Team Iron Man. Check them out:

New "Finding Dory" Poster Released:

Today, Ellen DeGeneres along with Pixar released a brand new poster for "Finding Dory." The film is the sequel to "Finding Nemo" in which Dory (DeGeneres) is on the search for her parents and family. The film is due out in theaters on June 17, 2016. The poster says, "An unforgettable journey she probably won't remember."

Some of the tenants setting up shop include Anthropologie, Lacoste, Under Armour, Vera Bradley, ALEX and ANI, and much more. Here is complete list of tenants set to open in phases beginning May 15 along with descriptions:

Disney also announced several new restaurants opening in the Town Center of Disney Springs. This will include a custom burger shop called D-Luxe Burger, a pastry shop called Amorette's Patisserie, also Chef Rick Bayless' Mexican restaurant Tablas Frontera, and Chef Art Smith opening of Homecoming - Florida Kitchen and Shine Bar. Here is what Disney released on those restaurants in the press release:

"At D-Luxe Burger, a Disney owned and operated concept, burger aficionados are in for a treat with gourmet burgers made from a signature blend of beef, unique toppings and freshly baked buns. All-natural chicken and vegetarian burgers round out the menu with hand-cut fries and house-made dipping sauces as the perfect complement. Artisanal gelato shakes (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) and floats will also be featured, as well as hard sodas, draft beer and cider.

Celebrating the art of pastry making, Amorette’s Patisserie features elements of an artist’s loft and art gallery side-by-side within the comforts of a small town patisserie. Amorette’s means “little loves,” which is evident in the care poured into creating the shop’s sweet treats. Timeless classic and contemporary pastries are the stars in this unique high-end pastry shop owned and operated by Disney. Custom cakes are truly a work of art and are available for immediate purchase or for pre-order. Champagne selections by the glass and handcrafted hot chocolates only a pastry artist could create allow for a truly indulgent experience.

In addition to these owned and operated restaurants, we are bringing new restaurants to Town Center by award-winning celebrity chefs.

The newest contemporary Mexican-themed restaurant joining Disney Springs has a new name. Tablas Frontera will delight friends, family and food-lovers with exciting flavors and a contemporary Mexican experience. Warm colors, an open kitchen and a lively atmosphere frame an inviting exploration of the many delights from the kitchen of renowned chef Rick Bayless. The delicious, enticing presentation of grilled meats, seafood and vegetables served on planks (tablas) promote sharing and togetherness.

Homecoming – Florida Kitchen and Shine Bar by Chef Art Smith will showcase farm-to-fork cuisine inspired by the Sunshine State. The menu will feature Southern favorites like homemade pimento cheese, deviled eggs, low country shrimp and grits, and fried chicken."

Disney also announced some other enhancements inside the Town Center of Disney Springs. Guests will be warmly greeted at the Welcome Center where you will relax and take in the beauty of the clear water with lush landscape. It will be themed to early Florida settlements, the architecture around the Spring will be based upon timber frame structures that were once used in the citrus and ranching industries.

At Fulton's Crab House, a new concept will be opening in the Fall. The restaurant will be re-imagined  with a bow to stern update when it reopens. It will include updates that reflect the luxury of modern yachting with new spaces including a new upstairs lounge overlooking Disney Springs, an outdoor waterfront bar featuring a "build your own" fish boil and private dining areas. 

Finally, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will be moving from its current location inside The World of Disney store into a new expanded location near Once Upon a Toy in the Disney Springs Marketplace. 

"Inside Out" Wins Best Animated Feature at Oscars:

Jump for joy as Disney Pixar's "Inside Out" was the only winner for Disney at last night's Academy Awards. "Inside Out" won Best Animated Feature and was presented by two familiar and favorite characters, Buzz and Woody, from "Toy Story" who are celebrating their 20th Anniversary together. Director Pete Docter and Jonas Rivera accepted the award on behalf of the film. Docter said during the acceptance speech, "You can make stuff. Make films. Draw. Write. It will make a world of difference."

"Inside Out" is the eighth Pixar film to win Best Animated Feature since the award began 15 years ago in 2001. Congratulations to Pete Docter and Jonas Rivera on their Oscar win, it certainly was well deserved. 

Disney Films Nominated for 9 Oscars this Morning

Just about an hour ago we learned the nomination for the 88th Annual Academy Awards as they were revealed in Los Angeles. 2015 was possibly the biggest film year for the Walt Disney Company and Oscar Nominations didn't disappoint. Disney films were nominated for 9 categories. The nominations were announced by actor John Krasinski (The Muppets, Monsters University) along with filmmakers Guillermo del Toro and Ang Lee. 2015 Year in Review Of Disney News From It All Started With a Mouse

Well, it's time to say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016. It was certainly a great year because this blog was started way back in January. I can't thank you, the readers, enough for such a great year. 2015 brought so much great news all around the Walt Disney Company. From Shanghai Disneyland to Star Wars Land, and from "Inside Out" to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and so much more. Here is the year in review from It All Started With a Mouse.

Star Wars Land Coming to Both Coasts, Toy Story Land Coming to Hollywood Studios:

We knew it was coming it was just a matter of time oh when it would be announced. At this year's D23 EXPO in August, Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger took the stage to announce that Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios would both be getting a 14-acre Star Wars Land, the largest ever themed land to ever be built in the theme park. The land will include letting guests dive into a whole new planet in the world of Star Wars, including an attraction that will transport guests into a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance. The other attraction will allow guests to fly in the Millennium Falcon into an epic Star Wars adventure on a secret mission. The Mos Eisley Cantina will be built as one of the most popular scenes from the original films will allow guests to enjoy a meal from the world of Star Wars.

Later in the day, the rest of the expansion was announced for Hollywood Studios, as new Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek and lead Disney creator Kathy Mangum took the stage and announced Toy Story Land. Here the 11-acre land will shrink guests into the size of Andy's toys and takes them into Andy's backyard with two new attractions and the expanded third track of Toy Story Midway Mania. Construction on both new lands are expected to begin early in the new year in 2016.

Disneyland Dazzles with 60th Diamond Celebration:

Early this year Disneyland held an event to preview what was coming for its 60th Diamond Celebration in honor of its 60th Birthday that began on May 22. The celebration kicked off with the yearly 24-hour party. Debuting this year in honor of the celebration was the new Paint the Night parade, World of Color - Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney, and the Disneyland Forever fireworks show. 

The celebration continued on July 17, 2015, which marked the official 60th Birthday and the opening of Disneyland.  The Diamond Celebrations will continue into 2016, so check out Disneyland and celebrate 60 wonderful years.

In July, Disney Parks Chairman and CEO Bob Iger along with Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek revealed details on Shanghai Disneyland, which will be opening in 2016. It will be the first Disney theme park on the mainland of China and will have six themed lands with innovative attractions and immersive entertainment designed especially for Chinese guests. 

The park will feature two new hotels: the Art-Nouveau inspired Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and the Toy Story Hotel. It will feature six themed land including for the first time ever in a Disney theme park no Main Street instead it will be called Mickey Avenue. The other themed lands include Adventure Isle, Gardens of Imagination, Tomorrowland, Treasure Cove, and Fantasyland. 

New attractions coming to Shanghai Disneyland include: TRON Lightcycle Power Run, Roaring Rapids, Pirates of the Caribbean - Battle for the Sunken Treasure, Soarin' Over the Horizon, and so much more. For more details on Shanghai Disneyland check out the blog from July here. 

Changes in Disney Power:

Back in February, Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger made a decision for the future of the company. It was long said that whoever Iger chose to be COO, would be the sure bet to take over the Walt Disney Company when he eventually steps down. Iger chose Tom Staggs, former Parks & Resorts Chairman over CFO Jay Rasulo. Rasulo eventually stepped down in June and was replaced by Christine M. McCarthy. Kevin Mayer was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer. Bob Chapek was named Walt Disney Parks & Resorts chairman.

Goodbye Sorcerer's Hat and So Much More:

2015 was year where we said goodbye to many things at Walt Disney World and in 2016 we will say goodbye to more. It began early with the removal of the Sorcerer's Hat at Hollywood Studios. We said goodbye to the Magic of Disney Animation and saw the final performance from Mulch, Sweat, and Shears. 

2015 was also the final year for Star Wars Weekends. As Hollywood Studios goes under its transformation, Disney said Star Wars will be part of the park year round so there would be no need for Star Wars Weekends. Finally, in just a few days we will say our final goodbye's to the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. After 20 years, the lights will be shut off for the final time on January 3, 2016 wrapping up many Disney fans favorite part of the holidays at the parks. 

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens Lights Up the Box Office in Disney's Most Successful Year Ever:

Finally, what a year it has been for Disney at the box office. It all began with the live-action remake of "Cinderella" in March. Then we had "Tomorrowland" in May, although it wasn't very successful at the box office, it was still a very good movie. In June, Pixar had the hit of the summer with "Inside Out" that film still gets me every time I see it. Pixar wasn't done however because for the first time ever two Pixar films were released in a year. On Thanksgiving, "The Good Dinosaur" was released and it was just as good as "Inside Out" bringing may theater goers to tears of the friendship between Arlo and Spot. 

All those films for the blockbuster that just keeps breaking records and is already the 8th most profitable film in history. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has currently made 1.293 Billion at the box office and will still be climbing into the new year. The force has certainly awakened and Star Wars is back. Fans can't be any happier as some have seen the film multiple times already. Will "The Force Awakens" become the top film ever? I guess we will find out in 2016.

Becomers. Traditionally, they’re in high school, college and the decade that follows and they’re navigating the wonderful, fun, exciting and scary time when you experience many of life’s firsts—from first kiss to first kid. Becomers are on that epic adventure of becoming an adult. And today ABC Family announced that on Tuesday, January 12, the network will officially be renamed Freeform, a name that speaks to the network’s ongoing priority to super-serve the Becomer audience.

The audience’s identity and experience are fluid as they explore endless possibilities and their passions take shape. Freeform is inspired by the interconnection between content and audience, media and technology, interactive and linear, life stage and life style and the way Becomers interact with them all.

“The Freeform brand represents the passion, fun, energy and new ideas that infuse young adulthood,” said ABC Family President Tom Ascheim. “We’ve been evolving naturally for a while now, so it’s time that our name reflects the true essence of our brand. We are excited to take our network in some new directions and continue to evolve alongside culture while delivering those favorite shows our viewers already love.”

The name change coincides with the season premiere of the network’s No. 1 original hit series, Pretty Little Liars, and the world premiere of Shadowhunters, a new original series based upon novelist Cassandra Clare’s bestselling young adult fantasy book series The Mortal Instruments. Both shows kick off their season on January 12, while the midseason premiere of The Fosters and the debut episode of the brand-new series Recovery Road air Monday, January 25.

Freeform also has several new series in the works including the supernatural series Beyond from executive producer Tim Kring; thriller series Guilt; horror tale Dead of Summer, from Once Upon a Time creators Adam Horowitz & Edward Kitsis, with Ian Goldberg; and the recently unproduced new reality series The Letter. Additional projects include the pilot Famous in Love, from Pretty Little Liars producer Marlene King, based on the novel by Rebecca Serle; and the highly anticpated Nicki Minaj comedy project which is inspired by Nicki’s life growing up in Queens with her vibrant family after immigrating from Trinidad—as well as her personal and musical evolution that led to her eventual rise to stardom.

The network is also planning new seasons of established series including Switched at Birth, Stitchers and The Fosters, as well as a second season of recent unscripted hit Monica the Medium. Freeform remains committed to the critically acclaimed original series and programming that have become pop culture phenomena and made it so successful with the Becomer audience.

Two Disney Pixar Films Earn Golden Globe Nominations:

Two Disney Pixar films in "Inside Out" and "The Good Dinosaur" picked up two Golden Globe nominations this morning. Both films were nominated for the category of Best Animated Film. The Golden Globes which will be held January 10, 2016 is an annual ceremony that honors the best in the film industry. 

Disney has had much success at recent Golden Globes ceremonies winning 7 of the last 9 awards in the Best Animated Film category. "Frozen" won recently in 2014. If they win the Golden Globe, one of the films will most likely win the Academy Award for Best Animated Picture.

New "Zootopia" Poster Released:

Today, Disney released new poster for their next animated feature in "Zootopia." The film is set to release to theaters March 4, 2016.

Oh My Disney released last night some new concept art for Shanghai Disneyland's Treasure Cove. The park still under construction is scheduled to open Spring 2016. Treasure Cove will be the first ever Pirates of the Caribbean-themed land in a Disney Park ever. Check out the concept art below:

More Details on Rivers of Light with Audition Call Released by Disney:

The actual audition call for Disney's Animal Kingdom's new nighttime spectacular, Rivers of Light, has been released. The audition gives more details on the new night show that is scheduled to debut Spring 2016. Rumors have been circulating that it may debut on Earth Day in April with soft openings sometime in March, Disney has yet to announce actual dates.

The audition calls for Contemporary and Bollywood-style dancers that the show will be choreographed by Ulka Simone Mohanty. Here is the full audition call:

Disney Creative Entertainment is seeking CONTEMPORARY and BOLLYWOOD-STYLE dancers for featured roles in a new offering at the Walt Disney World® Resort, near Orlando, FL. These silent narrators orchestrate all the action to convey the spirit of an ancient and timeless celebration. Choreographed by Ulka Simone Mohanty.

"Rivers of Light," the new immersive nighttime experience coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom in spring 2016, will combine live performances with beautiful floating lanterns, water screens and grand theatrical imagery, in a celebration of animals and nature. The event begins with the arrival of a pair of Shamans, two complimentary forces who come to the river bearing gifts of light. Along with their Acolytes, or assistants, the Shamans set out from the shore on elaborate lantern vessels, engaging in a dramatic dance of water and light to summon the animal spirits.

Seeking the following roles:

Male Dancers: 5'9" and above. Strong mover, agile, strong physical storyteller.

Female Dancers: 5'3" and above. Strong mover, agile, strong physical storyteller.

Inside Out Emotions React to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" Trailer:

Disney/Pixar's "Inside Out" is due to be released on Blu-Ray/DVD next Tuesday. Yesterday, they released a video of Joy, Anger, Disgust, Fear, and Sadness reacting to the final "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer. The video begins as Riley cracks open her laptop to watch the trailer and then reaction ensues of our favorite emotions. Check it out:

Walt Disney Animation and Pixar Panel Amazes Including Announcements of 'Gigantic' and 'Coco'

The Walt Disney Animation and Pixar Panel was hosted by John Lasseter started off with a bang as he began firing Hawaiian shirts out of a canon into the audience. This was just the beginning as Walt Disney Animation and Pixar previewed their upcoming films.

Zootopia:

Walt Disney Animation began with their preview of their next animated film, "Zootopia." Directors Byron Howard and Richard Moore along with producer Clark Spencer arrived on stage with Ginnifer Goodwin who voices Judy Hopps. Goodwin greeted fans with saying, "I'm not a Disney fan, I'm a Disney addict." Some casting notes singer, Shakira, will voice the role of Gazelle. Other notes included about the film include that sloths will run the DMV (Department of Mammal Vehicles) in the film. "Zootopia" opens up in theaters March 4, 2016.

Gigantic:

Clearly the breaking news of this part of the presentation was Lasseter announcing that Disney would be making its own version of the fairytale classic Jack and the Beanstalk with a film called "Gigantic." The film will take place in Spain during the 'age of discovery.' The film is set to debut in theaters in 2018. At the Animation pavilion they even hinted at the film with a giant beanstalk model. 

Songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, Oscar-winning writers from "Frozen," will also give a hand in writing songs for the film.

Moana:

"Moana" was the next film to be previewed. Directors John Muskar and Ron Clements as well as producer Osnat Shurer took the stage. The surprise guest however was Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who will be lending his voice for the demigod Maui in the film. He greeted fans inside the panel by saying, "We're All Family." "Moana" will be about wayfinder in the South Pacific searching for a long-lost island. Footage was shown as well as a song from the film performed by Te Vaka as Johnson the led the audience in an ancient Samoan call. The film is due out in theaters on November 23, 2016.

Next up in the panel was the Pixar preview of the presentation. Some notes included for the first time ever two Pixar animated originals will be released this year with recently "Inside Out" being the first and "The Good Dinosaur" set to be released on Thanksgiving.

Fans were treated first with Joy, Sadness, Pete Docter, and Jonas Rivera took to the stage. They started off with a premier of their new animated short, "Riley's First Date." The short features our favorite "Inside Out" emotions as it ventures into the minds of Riley's parents when a boy shows up on their front door to see Riley. The short will be part of the bonus features when "Inside Out" is released digitally on October 13 and on Blu-Ray on November 3. 

The Good Dinosaur:

"The Good Dinosaur" is due out in theaters this Thanksgiving and Director Pete Sohn and Producer Denise Ream were there on stage previewing the film. Ream said, "In our story, nature is a character itself." Arlo, an apatosaurus, must face his fears and 3 t-rexes in the upcoming film. The three t-rexes will be voiced by AJ Buckley, Anna Paquin, and Sam Elliot. "The Good Dinosaur" premieres November 25, 2015.

Finding Dory:

Tons of news for "Finding Dory" with so much casting news. Director Andrew Stanton and Producer Lindsey Collins were welcomed to the stage by Lasseter. "On a deeper level, I felt Dory needed more development," Andrew Stanton said on what brought on the sequel. A hilarious montage of Ellen DeGeneres (Dory) complaining that their needed to be a sequel to "Finding Nemo" and to the crowds surprise Ellen shows up to the expo. In casting news, Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy will voice Dory's parents in the sequel. Ed O'Neill (Modern Family) will voice Hank, a grumpy septopus. Ty Burrell (Modern Family) will also voice a character in the movie as a beluga whale. Also joining the cast will be Kaitlin Olson. "Finding Dory" will be released in theaters in the Summer of 2016. 

Coco:

Pixar's version of the Mexican holiday Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) now has a name in "Coco" this was the breaking news from Pixar along with "Gigantic" from Walt Disney Animation. Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) will direct and Darla K. Anderson will produce the film. The story line will be about 12-year old Miguel (a spirited boy) growing up in rural Mexico with a big family. A clip was shown with people lighting candles in a cemetery, when suddenly dancing and singing skeletons appear to begin a party. A skeleton mask falls off of Miguel and the other skeletons gasp. No release date has been set but Pixar has slots for November 2017 and November 2018.

Toy Story 4:

It is the 20th Anniversary of "Toy Story" and what would the expo be without news about "Toy Story 4." Lasseter introduced himself as the director of the film. Galyn Susman will be the producer and she said, "It's going to take Toy Story in a very new and exciting direction." Co-writer Rashida Jones said it was a dream come true to be writing this film. It was then revealed that "Toy Story 4" will be a love story between Woody and Bo Peep. Music will be written by Randy Newman (You've Got a Friend in Me). Newman was then joined on stage by Toy Story characters as he performed the song "You've Got a Friend in Me" to end the presentation. 

OH Wait there's more, Pixar revealed it is working on sequels to these Pixar films, FINALLY:
