2016 Wine & Dine Half Weekend Expanded, "Captain America: Civil War" Final Trailer, and More

2016 Wine & Dine Half Weekend Expanded:



The 2016 runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend has been expanded as announced today by runDisney and the Disney Parks Blog. The race which occurs the weekend of November 3-6, 2016 is expanding its menu of race offerings including the new Wine & Dine 10k and once you complete the 10k and the Half-Marathon you will win a medal for completing Lumiere's Two Course Challenge.

All of the races now will move to the morning instead of the evening as in past years. The inaugural 10k will be hosted by Chef Remy this year. The Post Race Party will take place Sunday evening at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival in Epcot that will finish with exclusive runner access during the later hours of the park.

Registration for this year's races begin later this month on March 29, 2016. You can also sign up for a reminder on the runDisney website.

"Captain America: Civil War" Final Trailer Debuts Along with New Poster:

Yesterday, we were teased that the final trailer for "Captain America: Civil War" would be released today. You won't be disappointed as the trailer hits right on the nail in getting you excited for this film. A new poster was also released along with the trailer.


The trailer hits everything including our first look at Spider-Man played by Tom Holland. Spider-Man  is on Team Iron Man. I'm going to stop rambling however and here is the trailer:



I stand by my statement from Super Bowl Sunday as I will stand with Team Cap. Who do you stand with? "Captain America: Civil War" hits theaters on May 6, 2016.

Minnie's Springtime Dine Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios:


Award season is over and Minnie will be bring her friends to enjoy the Florida sunshine and springtime as they dress in their garden party best. They will host a springtime soiree in Minnie's Springtime Dine at Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood Studios.

On the dinner menu will be classic picnic foods such as the refreshing coconut-lavender lemonade and springtime salads like watercress or basil-lime fruit salad. For dinner, enjoy hearty entrees including barbecue meatballs, buffalo baked chicken, lobster and shrimp mac 'n cheese, herb roasted pork, and more.  For desserts, guests can enjoy passion fruit cheesecake, key lime tarts, and banana cream puffs are just a few of the offerings.

Star Wars Days at Sea Will Return to Disney Cruise Line in 2017:


The force will be strong once again in 2017 on Disney Cruise Line with Star Wars Days at Sea returning.  Announced by Disney Cruise Line on the Disney Parks Blog, Star Wars Days at Sea will return in 2017 and expand to both eastern and western 7-night Caribbean itineraries. They will be offered on a limited of 15 sailings beginnings from early January and run through mid-April from Port Canaveral.

Here is what Star Wars Days at Sea offer:

Force-filled Fun for Everyone
  • Characters from across the Star Wars galaxy are onboard for interactions, photos and also may be seen patrolling the decks.
  • Kids and families enjoy friendly competition during Star Wars trivia games, putting their knowledge of the film and television sagas to the test.
  • Guests are encouraged to bring their costumes and participate in the costume celebration held in the ship’s atrium.
Younglings Use Their Power
  • In “Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple,” Force-sensitive children learn the ways of the Jedi and use their new-found skills in a final face off with Darth Vader.
  • Star Wars-themed arts and crafts, games, and activities are offered throughout the day in Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab youth clubs.
Star Wars Deck Party and Fireworks
  • An exciting evening blasts off with a deck party filled with music, a galactic dance party and appearances of Star Wars characters on the deck stage.
  • The grand finale is a spectacular display of pyrotechnics, lighting and sound effects set to a medley of Star Wars music.
Merchandise, Food and Beverage
  • Event merchandise exclusive to Star Wars Day at Sea is available on each sailing, including a range of collectible items, apparel and trading pins.

Film Screenings
