This year the Avengers will be joining forces with other Super Heroes during the now Super Heroes Half Weekend at Disneyland on November 10-13, 2016. To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Captain America and his first appearance, the Captain America 5k will be inspired by the vintage style of the original artwork.
With the movie release of "Doctor Strange" the week before the event, Doctor Strange, the master of mystic arts will host the Doctor Strange 10K. The half marathon will remain the Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon.
The Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend will be full of surprises the Disney Parks Blog said and you will never know who you will meet on the course. Registration for the race will begin on April 12, 2016 at noon ET. You can also sign up for an email reminder on the runDisney website.
