It's Friday and its the weekend so let's celebrate. There are only 100 days until my trip to Walt Disney World, and it can't get here fast enough. I can't wait to get back to the place I call my second home. Anyway's it's Friday the 13th and let's dive into your daily news from around Disney.

Mad T Party Returning for Disneyland's Diamond Celebration:

Today the Disney Parks Blog announced as part of Disneyland's Diamond Celebration the Mad T Party would be returning on May 22 to Disneyland's California Adventure. It stated that it would be making its return with a new dazzling experience in its own splendiferous way. Mad T Party joins the new World of Color - Celebrate!, the Paint the Night parade, as well as Disneyland Forever fireworks as part of all the new nighttime entertainment for Disneyland's 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration. Are you excited for the return of Mad T Party?

Disney World Cast Members Can Get Free Measles Vaccines:

After the outbreak of measles at the Disneyland Resort and advice from the Florida Department of Health, cast members at Disney World can get free measles vaccinations starting Monday. The Orlando Sentinel reported that Disney is undertaking the effort in helping the Florida DOH in helping prevent measles in Florida. Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger stated in an email, "We have long been committed to encouraging actions that help Cast Members stay healthy, including vaccinations that are an important part of preventive care." More than 100 people in 14 different states have been diagnosed with measles since January. Most of the cases stemming from where the outbreak began at Disneyland in California. Florida has a 93 percent vaccination rate which is along the lines of the national average for states.

On this day, February 13, in 1976, Disney animator, John Lounsbery, one of Walt's original "9 Old Men," was still a Studio employee and was working on "The Rescuers" passes away.
