Celebrity Chefs and New Experiences Announced for Food & Wine Festival:

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be here before we know it. While Epcot yesterday held a preview of the annual event for Tables in Wonderland members, today we got a sneak peak at which celebrity chef's will be appearing and the new experiences that will be occurring during this year's festival.

We already know that ABC's "The Chew" will be returning to this year's festival. Also returning to this year's 62-day festival will be the likes of Robert Irvine, Cat Cora, Norman Van Aken, Elizabeth Falkner, Buddy Valastro, and Jamie Deen. That's not all as new to this year's line-up will be Geoffrey Zakarian, Maneet Chauhan, Duff Goldman, Elliott Farmer, Masaharu Morimoto, and Graham Elliot will be joining the longtime favorites.

That's not all as this year the festival is expanding to resorts around Walt Disney World with new experiences that will be sure not-to-miss. They include:

  • “Brunch with a Twist at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa” — a sumptuous 5-star, 5-course meal prepared by the resort’s award-winning chefs
  • “The Secrets of Flavor at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort” — a three-course lunch that gives guests a ‘sensory-food connection’ at Yachtsman Steakhouse
  • “Culinary Adventures with a Master Chef” at Disney’s Contemporary Resort — a hands-on chef’s table experience in a professional working kitchen
  • “Behind the Scenes at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto” at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort — an entertaining tour of the whimsical Trader Sam’s, followed by lunch and a special mixology session

  • Keep checking the Disney Parks Blog and here on It All Started With a Mouse for updates about when you can begin making reservations for these festival experiences and more. This year's Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will take place September 14 through November 14, 2016.
Star Wars Fireworks Dessert Party Location Moving:

Beginning July 10, guests enjoying the "Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular" fireworks dessert party will be moving its location from the Center Stage hub area over to Star Wars Launch Bay. There guests will enjoy Star Wars-themed treats inside Launch Bay then 15 minutes before the show will be escorted outdoors to a VIP-viewing area.

With best view of the spectacular show coming from the Center Stage area, it makes sense to create more space for viewing in the area. The current location for the dessert party takes up a lot of capacity space in the viewing area.

The "Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular" dessert party costs $69 for adults and $39 for children ages 3 to 9) tax an gratuity are included. Admission to Hollywood Studios is required.
