The date of course is subject to change, but as you can see Disney may be trying to open the new Frozen attraction in advance for guests visiting the parks next summer. No word has been announced on the rest of the Norway expansion. Back in January it was discovered that not only is the Frozen attraction replacing Maelstrom. Plans for moving the meet and greet of Anna and Elsa back to Epcot in the Norway pavilion.
The expansion is taking place between the Mexico and Norway pavilions where a 13,000 square foot complex for the meet and greet, remodeled restrooms, and backstage parking. Here is what the area looked like a week ago while I was there.
