Annual Walt Disney World Ticket Increases Expected to Go Into Effect This Sunday


It's that time of year again and is expected that Walt Disney World ticket prices for both regular guests and Annual PassHolders will go into effect this Sunday, February 11. Here is what is rumored to be the changes for this coming year:

Magic Kingdom Single Day Tickets:
  • Value: From $107 to $109; $2 increase
  • Regular: From $115 to $119; $4 increase
  • Peak: From $124 to $129: $5 increase
Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Single Day Tickets:
  • Value: From $99 to $102; $3 increase
  • Regular: From $107 to $114; $7 increase
  • Peak: From $119 to $122; $3 increase
Park Hopper Option for Single Day Tickets:
  • Value: From $162 to $164; $2 increase
  • Regular: From $170 to $174; $4 increase
  • Peak: From $174 to $184; $10 increase
Multi-Day Park Tickets:
  • 2-Day - From $199 to $209; $10 increase
  • 3-Day - From $289 to $325; $36 increase
  • 4-Day - From $350 to $400; $50 increase
  • 5-Day - From $370 to $415; $45 increase
Annual Passholders:

Disney Silver Pass - New: $419 to $439, a $20 increase. Renewal: $356 to $373, a $17 increase
Disney Gold Pass - New: $559 to $589, a $30 increase. Renewal: $475 to $500, a $25 increase
Disney Platinum Pass - New Florida Resident - $679 to $729, $50 increase. Renewal: $653 to $704,  a $51 increase. Non-Resident New: $779 to $849, a $70 increase. Renewal: $662 to $721, a $59 increase.
Disney Platinum Plus Pass - New Florida Resident: $769 to $829, a $60 increase. Renewal: $653 to $704, a $51 increase. Non-Resident New: $869 to $949, a $80 increase. Renewal: $738 to $806, a $68 increase. 

These new prices do not include tax. As in recent year's the old prices are in effect until they officially increase which is expected to go into effect this Sunday, February 11.

Disney Parks Goes to 1-Day Seasonal Pricing and Multi-Da Ticket Increases Effective Today February 28, 2016

In what wasn't a complete surprise, news broke out Friday that Disney Parks (both Disneyland and Disney World) would be moving to seasonal 1-day ticket pricing, as well raising prices on multi-day ticket prices. Disney made it official yesterday with prices going into effect today, February 28. Pricing for 1-day tickets will go into three tiers: Value, Regular, and Peak pricing. Multi-Day tickets are not part of the tiered-ticket pricing as of yet. Here is a monthly calendar for Disney World of when value, regular, peak times are. Photo credit Touring Plans:

For Disney World Water Parks only two tiers will apply with regular and value pricing. There are no blackout dates for the regular tier. Pricing for 1-day regular tickets with tax are $63.90 for adults and $57.51 for children. Annual Passholders and DVC member tickets are $59.64 for adults and $54.32 for children.

Pricing for 1-day value tickets will be $58.58 for adults and $52.19 for children. For Annual Passholders and DVC members tickets will be $54.32 for adults and $48.99 for children. Block Out dates for value tier pricing are: May 28-31, June 1-30, July 1-31, and August 1-28, 2016.

Table-Service Dining Coming Back to Diamond Horseshoe For Limited Time, New "Finding Dory" Spot, and More

Table-Service Dining Coming Back to Diamond Horseshoe for Limited Time:



The Diamond Horseshoe will begin serving table-service again for a limited time for lunch and dinner beginning March 13th and will run through as of right now May 30th. You will be able to enjoy an all-you-care-to-enjoy saloon feast that will begin with the Frontier Salad, which is a mix of tasty greens, tomatoes, roasted corn, cornbread croutons, and a house-made chipotle-ranch dressing. There will also be cornbread for the whole family to share. 


For you main entrees, you will be able to enjoy choices of BBQ pulled turkey served over cornbread, spit-roasted ham served with country beans, or stewed beef served with mashed potatoes. Each of the entrees are also served with seasonal vegetables. 

End your meal with either the apple tart or the Campfire Brownie, a rich chocolate brownie on a graham cracker crust, topped with toasted marshmallow. Soft drinks, tea, coffee, and milk are all included in the saloon feast. 

Cost will be $33 plus tax for adults and $19 for children ages 3-9. You can make reservations now for the available dates by calling 407-WDW-DINE. 

New "Finding Dory" Spot Debuts, Full Trailer Coming Wednesday on The Ellen Degeneres Show:



A new 30-second TV spot for "Finding Dory" has been released by Disney Pixar. The promo is still following the "Have You Seen Her?" theme but it was released to notify that the full trailer will be released on Wednesday, March 2nd. The trailer will be released on "The Ellen Degeneres Show". The long-awaited sequel to "Finding Nemo" will hit theaters on June 17.
