Pixar Not Planning Any Sequels After "Incredibles 2" in 2019; Disney Testing Automated PhotoPass Cameras

Pixar Not Planning Any Sequels After "Incredibles 2" in 2019:

"Finding Dory" begins a run of sequels for the next four years where we will enter back into the stories of some of our favorite Pixar films. "Cars 3" (2017), "Toy Story 4" (2018), and "Incredibles 2" (2019) could very well be the end of sequels from the animation company according to Pixar President Jim Morris. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he assured fans they would be focusing on original films, specifically squashing a sequel to the 2008 Pixar hit Wall-E.

He said although they would love to go back to the world to find out if the humans survived after returning to the burn-out planet. He said, "But that was really a love story that had its beginning, middle, and end, so we're not really planning any further stories in those worlds at this point."

He continued saying, "Most studios jump on doing a sequel as soon as they have a successful film, but our business model is a filmmaker model, and we don't make a sequel unless the director of the original film has an idea that they like and are willing to go forward on."

Pixar does have an original film that is intended to be released next fall in 2017 in "Coco" which will be directed by "Toy Story 3" director Lee Unkrich. So unless they have ideas for sequels the stories of the likes of "Ratatouille", "Inside Out", and "Wall-E" the continuation of these stories will never come to be.

Disney Testing Automated PhotoPass Cameras at Non-Attraction Locations:

According to WDW News Today, Disney World has begun testings stationary PhotoPass cameras at non-attraction locations such as Rapunzel's Tower and in a few days The Sword in the Stone in Fantasyland.

To take a picture, guests will stand in front of the stationary camera, activated it to take the photo, then link it to their My Disney Experience/PhotoPass accounts as they would normally with a PhotoPass photographer. Cast Members are currently helping guests in testing the new system. All participating guests in the test will receive a free photo download as a thank you for helping with this test.

The system would require for the stationary cameras to become permanent infrastructures around certain locations in the park where photographers wouldn't be stationed normally anyways. What do you think of this new test on automated cameras in Disney Parks?
