This adorably cute bird will debut in front of "Finding Dory" in June when the film hits theaters. Piper is about a hungry baby sandpiper learning to overcome hydrophobia. The six-minute short's inspiration came from less than a mile away from Pixar Studios in Emeryville, California as director/animator Alan Barillaro would run along the shore and see these birds fleeing from the waves then return between the waves to eat.
