More Details on "Frozen Ever After", Clip from Soarin' Over the World Released, and More

More Details on "Frozen Ever After" Announced:



Disney World has been holding their annual summer media event over the last two days. Although not much has been announced as in opening dates including "Frozen Ever After." Everything has been announced as debuting "In Summer" but they did release some new details on the popular attraction. The info included:
  • Song writers Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez created new lyrics for the attraction to the "Frozen" film songs.
  • All of the original voice talent from the returned to voice their respective characters in the new attraction.
  • Walt Disney Imagineering traveled to Norway to research architecture, decor, and artifacts all to be seen in the Royal Sommerhus.
  • The design and the Royal Sommerhus and the surrounding area is modeled after a traditional Norwegian cabin in Trondheim.
"Frozen Ever After" and the Royal Sommerhus will both open this summer in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot.

Clips from Soarin' Around the World Released:

That wasn't all the Epcot news announced at the media preview as the media got a sneak peak of what's to come in the new Soarin' Around the World set to open you guessed it this summer. No opening date has been announced yet. The clip shows a preview of how guests will be flying over China and Australia. Here is the clip:



Soarin' closed back in January and will be reopening as Soarin' Over the World. Stay tuned for an opening date which will be announced soon you would think.

"Alice Through the Looking Glass" Preview Coming to Disney Parks:


Guests will soon to be able preview "Alice Through the Looking Glass" at both Disney's Hollywood Studios and at Disney California Adventure. The preview at both parks will begin May 6 for a limited time.

At DCA, guests will preview the sequel to "Alice in Wonderland" will be presented in 3D with special in-theater effects at the Sunset Showcase Theater (formerly where MuppetVision 3D was located). At Hollywood Studios, One Man's Dream will be housing the preview and seeing advance clips of the film. 

The preview will go on through June 12, so if you're visiting Disney Parks catch the 10-minute preview before time runs out. "Alice Through the Looking Glass" hits theaters May 27, 2016.

"Through the Looking Glass" Final Trailer, New Disney LEGO Minifigures Coming, and More

"Alice Through the Looking Glass" Final Trailer Released:



The final "Alice Through the Looking Glass" trailer has been released for the sequel to "Alice in Wonderland" that is due out in theaters May 27. The trailer which begins with Alice in a mental hospital being diagnosed by a very twitchy doctor (Andrew Scott). Alice escapes then heads back to Wonderland with the help of Absolem (voiced by the late Alan Rickman). As the trailer goes on we see a cavalcade of different sequences as we see some of our favorite characters from Wonderland including the White Rabbit, White Queen, the Red Queen, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Mad Hatter, and more.

New Disney LEGO Minifigures to Debut in May:


The Disney Parks Blog announced today that the LEGO store in Disney Springs will be releasing the first ever LEGO minifigures Disney Character collection. The series will be released in May and will be sold at both World of Disney and the LEGO Store at a suggested retail cost of $3.99. 

The first series shown in the picture above will consist of some of our favorite iconic Disney/Pixar characters including Mickey, Minnie, Peter Pan, the Genie, Maleficent, Buzz Lightyear, Mr. Incredible, and more. Which minifigure are you most interested in collecting?

Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire to Debut in June:


Dream Along with Mickey will be ending its run by the end of the week. We found out last month it would be replaced with Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire. The new show which will feature for the first time ever in a stage show characters from "Princess and the Frog" and "Tangled." Also appearing in the show will be Anna and Elsa from "Frozen" and a number of our favorite classic characters. Through a press release that Blog Mickey found the show is tentatively set to debut in June. No exact date has been set however. Here is the press release:
New Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire stage show Coming to Magic Kingdom Park (June 2016) — For the first time, modern Disney characters Tiana of “Princess and the Frog,” and Rapunzel of “Tangled,” co-star with Anna and Elsa of “Frozen,” and a host of classic characters in the new Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire. Performed on the grandest stage in the kingdom, the star-studded tale of friendship presents Mickey Mouse and his troupe of Merry Makers — Minnie Mouse, Donald, Daisy and Goofy – who invite 10 new friends from different animated worlds to join the celebration. March Magic is Back and Begins Tuesday; New Daylight Savings Time Sneak Peak of 'Through the Looking Glass'

March Magic is Back and Begins this Tuesday:



The magic is back and March Magic is back beginning this Tuesday, March 15. Pitting your favorite attractions against each other from both Disneyland and Disney World. Last year's winner the Gracey Manor Ghouls from Disney World return to see if they will win again. 32 teams will face off until one winner from each side face off against each other in the final on April 4. 

Starting Tuesday, follow Disneyland and Walt Disney World on Facebook and Twitter to cast your votes for your favorite attractions. Here are the sixteen teams from Disney World:

New Daylight Savings Time Sneak Peak of 'Through the Looking Glass'

"Alice Through the Looking Glass" doesn't hit theaters until May 27, 2016. Today, as we battle through Daylight Savings Time after losing an hour, Disney released a sneak peak of the movie asking if we lost the hour, maybe it was stolen and where did the time go? Here is a description of the movie:
In Disney’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” an all-new spectacular adventure featuring the unforgettable characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved stories, Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. Directed by James Bobin, who brings his own unique vision to the spectacular world Tim Burton created on screen in 2010 with “Alice in Wonderland,” the film is written by Linda Woolverton based on characters created by Lewis Carroll and produced by Joe Roth, Suzanne Todd and Jennifer Todd and Tim Burton with John G. Scotti serving as executive producer. “Alice Through the Looking Glass” reunites the all-star cast from the worldwide blockbuster phenomenon, including: Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska and Helena Bonham Carter along with the voices of Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen and Timothy Spall. We are also introduced to several new characters: Zanik Hightopp (Rhys Ifans), the Mad Hatter’s father and Time himself (Sacha Baron Cohen), a peculiar creature who is part human, part clock.

"Finding Dory" 2nd Teaser, 'It's About Time' Alice Teaser Released, DCL Launches 50% off Deposit Offer, and More

"Finding Dory" 2nd Teaser Released in the UK:



A second teaser trailer has been released for Pixar's upcoming sequel to Finding Nemo in "Finding Dory" in the United Kingdom. The movie is set to release on June 17, 2016 in U.S theaters. "Finding Dory" returns our favorite and very forgetful blue tang (Ellen DeGeneres) as here along with Nemo and Marlin search for answers to her past.

Along with DeGeneres the cast includes Ed O'Neill, Ty Burrell, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, among many others on an all-star cast. Here is the second teaser for "Finding Dory":



"Its About Time" Alice Through the Looking Glass Teaser Released:

Today, Disney released a 30-second teaser for "Alice Through the Looking Glass" called "Its About Time". It is a little eery hearing the Alan Rickman's voice throughout the teaser especially hearing him say, "You've been gone far to long Alice." Any depiction of the Trip is for illustrative purposes only and may not reflect actual Prize won.

Any difference between ARV and actual value will not be awarded. If Winner elects to take the Trip without Guests or fewer Guests than provided, components of the Trip will be awarded in increments/quantities suitable for the actual number of travelers and Winner will not receive any compensation or substitute/alternate Prize for same. Once selected by Winner, Guests cannot be changed without the express consent of Sponsor, which may be withheld for any reason. The Group must travel together on same itinerary. Winner understands and agrees that Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and remove any member of the Group from any activity at any time if such Group member’s behavior at any point is disruptive or may or does cause damage to person, property or the reputation of Sponsor, or an affiliate, or otherwise violates the rules or policies of the Sponsor or the applicable resort. Winner acknowledges that he/she is solely responsible for any actions, claims or liabilities of any of Guests related to any Sweepstakes-related activity or travel. Any portion of the Trip not accepted by Winner will be forfeited.

Certain restrictions, as determined by Sponsor, may apply. If the Group cannot comply with these restrictions or any portion of these Rules, the Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate Winner may be chosen.

Travel arrangements must be made at least forty-five (45) days in advance through Sponsor’s agent and on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice. If Group cannot travel on the dates specified by Sponsor, the Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and the Grand Prize may be awarded to an alternate Winner selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible Entries, time permitting. Travel dates will be subject to availability. Flight details are subject to availability and airline carrier’s regulations and conditions apply. The Trip may not be combined with any other offer, and travel may not qualify for frequent flier miles, award points or other perquisites. None of the Releasees are responsible for lost or mutilated tickets and none will be replaced. Airline tickets are non-refundable, non- transferable, and are not valid for upgrades. The hotel accommodations and airline tickets will be determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor. If any portion of the Grand Prize is not available for any reason then the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute that portion of the Grand Prize with another prize of comparable or greater value.

All taxes (including, without limitation, U.S. federal, foreign, provincial, state and local taxes (including, but not limited to income and withholding taxes), sales taxes, VAT, GST, PST, HST) on or connected with the Grand Prize, and the reporting consequences thereof, are solely the responsibility of the Winner. Winner may be required to remit to Sponsor an amount to cover the balance or the entire amount, as the case may be, of all applicable withholding taxes at the normal rates required by law (notwithstanding any tax treaties that may provide for lower rates of tax withholding, including exemption from withholding with the satisfaction of qualification requirements) prior to being awarded the Grand Prize and failure to do so will result in disqualification. Winner (if US resident) will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC reflecting the final actual value of his/her Prize. If Winner is a Canadian resident, s/he will receive an IRS Form 1042-S. In the event of a disqualification or Prize forfeiture, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select or not select an alternate potential Winner and award or not award the forfeited Prize.

Grand Prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable. No substitutions allowed, except as set forth in these Rules and at Sponsor’s sole discretion, a Prize of comparable or equal value will be provided. Grand Prize elements may not be separated and tickets, vouchers and gift cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Grand Prize will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible Entries are received, and Grand Prize is validly claimed by March 31, 2016, after which no alternate Winner will be selected, nor unclaimed Grand Prize awarded. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes promotional materials and the terms and conditions of these Rules, these Rules shall prevail and govern.

Star Wars Launch Bay at Hollywood Studios Rumored Opening Date; Alice Through the Looking Glass Teaser

Star Wars Launch Bay Rumored Opening Date at Hollywood Studios:



Since it was announced during August's D23 EXPO along with Star Wars Land, Star Wars Launch Bay has had a December opening date on the map for Disney's Hollywood Studios. Now we can say, that Disney Cast Members have been telling insiders to expect an November 27 soft opening and a December 6 official opening.

What does a soft opening mean? It means it will be a test and open at certain times and then be closed  at certain times as well. We will get a look at Disneyland's Star Wars Launch Bay in just 10 days when it opens along with Seasons of the Force that begins on November 16.

Star Wars Launch Bay will feature interactive exhibits, live video games, and opportunities to meet and greet with your favorite Star Wars characters. Launch Bay is just the stepping stool as we all await the opening of Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land in the near future.

"Alice Through the Looking Glass" Teaser Released:

Disney's "Alice Through the Looking Glass", a sequel to its live-action remake of "Alice in Wonderland", is due out May 27, 2016. Today the teaser was released for the film. The film's plot is Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. The film is directed by James Bobin and written by Linda Woolverton.
