Town Center Officially Opens at Disney Springs; New Trailer Released for "The BFG"

Town Center Officially Opens at Disney Springs:



The Town Center at Disney Springs officially opened this morning. Guests and Cast Members were invited into the newly-opened and retail-focused area of Disney Springs that takes the story of the new district to a whole new level. The new area has Spanish revival architecture, gorgeous landscaping, several new water fountains, and water features that may make Town Center the most beautiful area inside Disney Springs.


While even more is expected to open in Town Center this summer, here is what opened today with many food and retail options to choose from:

That's not all that opened today as the Lime Parking Garage is now also open, it adjacent to the World of Disney and Town Center. The new parking structure adds 2,000 more parking spots along with now the Orange Parking Garage. This also has the same smart technology as Orange which allows guests to see how many parking spots are available on each level. Parking remains complimentary at both parking structures.


New Trailer Released for "The BFG":


A new trailer has been released for "The BFG" that is due to be released in theaters this summer on July 1. Here is a brief description provided by Oh My Disney:

"The BFG is based on the novel by celebrated author Roald Dahl, who wrote James and the Giant Peach. The film is directed by Steven Spielberg, with a screenplay by Melissa Mathison. The story follows a young girl named Sophie (Ruby Barnhill), the Big Friendly Giant (Mark Rylance), and their adventures from London to Giant Country to Dream Country and back again.
