With the new costume policy in effect at Disney Parks, where guests 14 and over may not wear costumes inside Disney theme parks. Many have wondered especially ahead of this weekend's Walt Disney World Marathon where many runners dress in costume. Today, runDisney released a policy statement that costumes are allowed but must follow certain guidelines. Here are the guidelines:
- Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent
- Guests may not wear masks of any kind
- Guests who dress like Characters may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests
- Costumes may not drag on the ground
- Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest
- Costumes may not contain any weapons which resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon
- Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from, a race or any race related event/activity unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards
Disney also reserves the right to deny admission or remove anyone that they feel is wearing attire that they consider inappropriate or attire that can detract from the experience of other guests.
First of Three New "Jungle Book" Posters Released Featuring King Louie and Kaa:
Disney unveiled the first part of their new triptych poster for its live action re-make of "The Jungle Book." The first poster features King Louie and Kaa. The second part of the triptych poster will be released tomorrow at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST. The final part will be released on Thursday, January 7th at the same time.
"The Jungle Book" hits theaters April 15, 2016 and is directed by Jon Favreau. The film features the voices of Bill Murray, Sir Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong'o, Scarlett Johansson, Giancarlo Esposito, Christopher Walken, and newcomer Neel Sethi will play Mowgli. Stay tuned the next two days for the last two parts of the triptych poster.
New "Captain America: Civil War" Concept Art/Photo Released:
New concept art has been released for the upcoming Marvel film "Captain America: Civil War" due out in theaters May 6, 2016. The new concept art features hero squaring off against hero in the rendering done by Ryan Meinerding & Andy Park. The synopsis of the film:
