Today, the Disney Parks Blog made a big announcement as the lineup of celebrities was announced for Star Wars Weekends. Two big names are coming to Star Wars Weekends which begins May 15 at Hollywood Studios. Frank Oz (Yoda) will be part of the fifth and final weekend June 12-14 and Ian McDiarmid (Senator/Emperor Palpatine) will be appearing during the first weekend May 15-17. Here is the list for each weekend:
Weekend I (May 15-17):
- Ian McDiarmid (pictured above) - Senator/Emperor Palpatine
- Amy Allen - Aayla Secura
- Tiya Sircar - Sabine Wren
Weekend II (May 22-24):
- Warwick Davis - Wald and Wicket W. Warrick
- Silas Carson - Ki-Adi-Mundi and Nute Gunray
- Vanessa Marshall - Hera Syndulla
Weekend III (May 29-31):
- Warwick Davis - Wald and Wicket W. Warrick
- Daniel Logan - Boba Fett
- Steve Blum - Zeb Orrelios
Weekend IV (June 5-7):
- Ray Park - Darth Maul
- Jeremy Bulloch - Boba Fett
- Ashley Eckstein - Ahsoka Tano
Weekend V (June 12-14):
- Frank Oz - Yoda
- Ray Park - Darth Maul
- Peter Mayhew - Chewbacca
- Taylor Gray - Ezra Bridger
Star Wars Weekends hosts will be James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Ashley Eckstein in addition to her Weekend IV guest spot will be at Disney's Hollywood Studios every weekend. All autograph opportunities this year for the first time will be held indoors at a specified location just off Commissary Lane near Star Tours: The Adventure Continues.
Star Wars Weekends begins May 15 and is every weekend at Disney's Hollywood Studios until June 14. Tune in for more information on Star Wars Weekends as it is released.
