Today Disney revealed more details into the upcoming Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. They also offered a sneak peak preview of the Bora Bora Bungalows that are slated to open April 1st. First however lets get into the details of Trader Sam's Grog Grotto that will be open at the end of this month.

Trader Sam's will be located in the former arcade space next to Captain Cook's just off of the Polynesian's lobby area. The new lounge will be very similar to the Trader Sam's in Disneyland and will offer both food and drinks with an emphasis on specialty cocktails and small appetizers. Trader Sam's will be open daily from 4 pm till midnight however only guest 21 and older will be let into the lounge after 8 pm.
There will be 12 specialty drinks, a rum flight, 3 different non-alcoholic beverages, along with a wide selection of beers and wines. A Kona beer flight will also be available to go with the Polynesian theme and most drinks will be served in souvenir tiki glasses. Food offerings at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto will include: pork tacos, sushi roll, chicken lettuce cups, fried Portuguese sausage bites, dumplings with sesame soy dipping sauce, and tuna poke.
There will be seating both indoors and outdoors. Inside space will be limited to 50 guests while outside on the patio there will be seating for 80 guests. With no advance reservations at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto, guests can expect to wait to get in within the first few months of it opening.
The long awaited opening of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort's Bora Bora Bungalows won't be here for another week, but Disney has allowed a small preview of them to certain guests beginning today. Here are some photos with a sneak peak inside the bungalows:

Also, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort made the final addition to the new lobby area of the resort by adding the giant tiki statue to the middle of the lobby.
